When I close my eyes I see my worst fears,
I think of all the pain I caused in my younger years nothing compares to what I've seen over here,
one day you'll understand it,
it'll be perfectly clear

I fought hard with in my heart,
memories of here is what tears me apart the horror of war,
I hope you never see,
I had to fight so you could be free

Marched off to war when my nation came calling,
fighting for my flag,
instead pf bar room brawling the decision was easy to make,
I did it for you,

I fought so you would never to come over here,
I know I missed alot,
