busting our ass, and getting little pay,
whatever happened to the good old days

The good old days I wish were still here, when times were rough,
people still cared the neighbors were friendly, and cities were clean,
not so many enemies
I love my nation, I love my creed,
the people who suffer are you and me
hold your breath and watch what you say,
censorship?... not in the good old days
Walk down the streets without getting mugged,
fighting together, to take out the thugs
crime was low, and people felt safe,
forget it now, goodbye good old days
